Mark is the co-recipient of the 2019 Tasmanian LiFE Award for "Outstanding Contribution to Suicide Prevention". Mark covers a wide range of topics based on his personal lived experiences. Mark provides talks for Roses in the Ocean on suicide prevention as well as with the Beyond Blue Speakers Bureau concerning depression, anxiety and suicide prevention. Mark is a practicing qualified Mental Health Peer Support Worker providing online support nationally to individuals concerning their mental health as well as locally though Standby to those bereaved by suicide.

SPEAK UP! Stay ChatTY works to promote positive mental health messages and prevent suicide by normalising conversations about mental health and encouraging people to seek help when they need it. Mitch provides a Lived experience presentation which also includes normalising mental health, services available and tips on having tough conversations. Mitch prefers to speak to audiences 18 years plus.

As part of the SPEAK UP! Stay ChatTY team, we deliver awareness and education sessions about mental health promotion, suicide prevention, where to get support, and how to have supportive mental health conversations. We deliver short 5 - 15 minute presentations to any audience about five ways we can all make a difference for mental health, and 45 minute presentations for ages 18+. Each facilitator is trained in ASIST and Mental Health First Aid.

Rod provides training in a variety of Mental Health First Aid courses, StandBy related training regarding post-vention and other workshops around Mental Health and Wellbeing. Rod has been a Mental Health First Aid trainer since 2006 and has conducted almost 400 courses. Rod is currently the North/North West Team leader in Tasmania for the StandBy support after suicide service. Rod's audiences include community groups, service organisations, businesses, churches and the general public.

Sharon is a Lived Experience Speaker for Suicide Prevention Australia and is trained by Roses in the Ocean. Sharon shares experiences of growing up in Outback Queensland and struggling with both Gender Identity and Sexuality. Sharon's passion is in community development. As Executive Officer for KRC, Sharon and team facilitate three programs: Community Response to Eliminating Suicide (CORES) Australia, Home Interaction Program for Parents and Youngsters (HIPPY) Kentish - an early learning program for ages 4 and 5 and LGBTI Professional Development.
